This month’s PLAY! box is themed “Beauty in Bloom” in what I’m sure is a cheeky reference to the changing seasons. Inside is a five-piece “bounty of beauty,” curated to help my makeup routine “bloom.” I received products from Amika, Bite Beauty, DryBar, NARS, and Sephora Collection.

This month’s PLAY! box is themed “Lovestruck Beauty” with the blurb “A meet-cute is about to happen between you and your February box.” Something’s got to be wrong with that copy, but I assume that it’s meant to be a play on words with Valentine’s Day being part of the theme. Vici Collection is the next store I’ve earmarked my cash for, no small decision given that I’ve told myself “no” to every single thing I’ve wanted so far in 2019. If the temptation is strong enough to merit my first purchase in four weeks, that’s saying something, right?
