Black Friday Haul (2018)

Each year the Black Friday sales seem to be getting better and better. This Black Friday was no exception. I received a TON of amazing products marked down by 40-50%! If you’re curious to know what I picked up, keep reading.

Express

One Eleven Oversized Sherpa Fleece Sweatshirt $79.90 | How cozy and cuddly is this sherpa fleece sweatshirt? It is so comfy and I love how soft the sherpa is. It’s like being wrapped in a cloud, and it’s super flatting with the pinky-gray-cream rose-gold motif.

Horizontal Ribbed Dolman Sleeve Sweater $59.90 | I love this dolman sleeve off-the-shoulder sweater! It’s cute and casual but also dressy in the sense that it’s more refined and polished. I love the beautiful cream color and the smooth ribbed material.

HOLLISTER

Sherpa Joggers $34.95 & Sherpa Sleep Shorts $19.95 | Hollister was 40% off the entire store so I picked up some daily essentials from Gilly Hicks, Hollister’s cozy intimates line. These sherpa joggers are so comfy to lounge in (I paid $20.97), and for $11.97, I also picked up these blush/peach colored sherpa shorts.

Of course I couldn’t resist buying these slippers either – look at them! So cute! Unfortunately the fit was horrible… the xs/s was tiny, and by the time I got in-store they were all sold out in the bigger size. I doubt I’m really a m/l though. That was just weird and disappointing for me.

Lulus

Emerson Dolman Sleeve Sweater $45 | Lulus was 25% off sitewide (not the most generous sale but noteworthy enough to merit my attention). I ended up purchasing two sweaters but only kept this one. I already mentioned I love dolman sleeve sweaters and this oversized, mauve/blush shade was calling my name. Super cute to wear with leggings.

CALL IT SPRING

Brambilla $89.99 | I’ve been looking for a pair of black riding boots all season. As usual, Aldo’s Black Friday sale sucked, so I went to Call It Spring and found these boots for 30% off. I tried them on and liked them far above any of the others, so I decided to go all in for the price of $62.99.

Zappos

Ugg Womens Jerene Chestnut $249.95 | This was my splurge purchase this year but at a damn good discount – 50% off. Although I paid a pretty penny for these babies, man do they look beautiful.  They’re so elegantly crafted. The perfect winter boots with style and function.

DSW

Toms Esme Chelsea Boot $99.99 | I racked $80 in rewards at DSW for this humongous order I had placed earlier in the season (all of which I ended up returning). I was browsing the site looking to see what I could snag when I saw these Chelsea boots! I loved the navy color and how simple and chic they looked. I only paid $19.99 for them.

The full line-up: My laptop is currently in need of repair so this is the only photo I have of all three pairs of boots taken by me personally. I had to insert this to keep things authentic on my blog!

Erin Condren

Erin Condren LifePlanner in Metallic Paper Stripes Rose Gold – $70, Sticker Book (Classic Edition 4) – $15, Let’s Party Sticker Pack – $7, Love To Plan Sticker Book – $7, Winter Holiday Clear Sticker Sheet – $4, Custom Photo Sticker Sheets (3) – $5

I spoiled myself this year in the Planner department. Erin Condren was 30% off sitewide, so I not only picked up a ton of stickers, I also purchased my annual Erin Condren LifePlanner. New to the lineup? The hardbound cover LifePlanner, which I plan to use for work. Technically my dad paid for the majority of these as a Christmas gift, so the only one that’s really out of pocket is the hardbound LifePlanner.

Ulta & Sephora

Of course I made holiday purchases at both Ulta and Sephora. I picked up makeup brushes, eyeshadow palettes, glitter shadows, lip products, complexion products, and more. Ulta’s sale was unparalleled in value – see the deals and what I purchased here. See what I purchased at Sephora here

Live Love Polish

Graham Nail Polish $16, Guernica Nail Polish $14, Phantasma $16 | I discovered Live Love Polish on Instagram and their nail polish line is SUCH a well hidden secret online. They have the most amazing glitter, holographic, flake, and duo-chrome nail polishes! I can’t remember the deal I believe they were 30% off.

Esqido

Smoke & Fire $22 | We’re getting to the end, I promise! Esqido had 30% off their lashes so I picked up several styles, the first one being “Smoke & Fire” from their Unisyn line (premium synthetic false eyelashes). I paid just $15.40 for these.

Voila Lash $29 | The next set of lashes I purchased is in the style Voila. They’re a dramatic set of fluffy mink lashes (I paid $20.30, a great deal). I don’t have a great picture of these because the backing is so reflective, so I’ll sub in a product photo from their website.

Amp It Up $27 | The last (and most dubious) pair of lashes I got is a super voluminous lash called Amp It Up. These lashes are almost doll-like. They go up so high when my eyes are open, I don’t know what I was thinking.

They’re definitely not subtle, and I don’t think I’d repurchase. But I still kind of like them.

Baublebar

Lumen Huggie Hoop Earrings $32, Olivia Hoop Earrings $38 | Finally, Baublebar had a 35% off sitewide sale, so I couldn’t sleep on that. I picked up these divine hoops. One is a pair of huggie hoops (so cute!) and the other was a sassy, larger pair.

I’m thrilled with all my purchases, and looking back, I must say that I gifted myself everything I wanted. When you’re an adult, you don’t know whose going to care enough to follow up on the things you really want, so I took care of it myself for an amazing deal. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my holiday purchases! Did you scoop up any good discounts? I’d love to know in the comments below.
